Join us on Saturday, November 19th from 2:00-4:00p at our Clayton location for a Christmas Luminary Pottery Workshop with local potter Ester Lipscomb.
We hosted this workshop two weekends in a row last month and sold out in a couple of hours. But Ester is going to try and make one more happen prior to Thanksgiving. So this will be the LAST Christmas Luminary Pottery Workshop Ester does all year so if you want to come, please grab your ticket ASAP.
Create a family heirloom for your holiday celebrations! Join Ester and learn how to make a pottery Christmas Tree Luminary. Luminaries will be glazed in the color of your choice and available for pickup at Wander approximately 6 weeks after class - just in time for Christmas!

Local potter Ester Lipscomb has over 20 years of experience teaching and making pottery. She has guided students from 3 to 93 in enjoying their innate creativity. Many know her as a resident potter at Mark of the Potter and have seen her work at art shows in Atlanta, Asheville, Macon, Athens and more. She will show you the proper techniques for making a piece of pottery to last, no experience necessary. If you have always wanted to try clay this is an afternoon you won’t want to miss. The instructor will provide clay, tools and everything you need.
Work will be glazed and fired by the instructor and will be available for pickup at Wander approximately one month after class. Shipping is available for an additional charge.
***UNFORTUNATELY, we can not offer returns or refunds for workshops as the presenter gets paid up front and refunding after the fact means we eat the lost money. We hate to be so blunt but this happens consistently creating a ton of extra work that often costs us money. Since the presenter is keeping 100% of the ticket cost, please make sure you are only purchasing a ticket if you are sure you can make it.***

Orders over $75 receive free priority USPS shipping. All orders ship out same day Monday through Friday if they are placed before 4:00p. In most cases, your order is packed, shipped and dropped off at the post office within the hour by one of our owners or team members.
Any orders received after 4:00p on Friday and before 11:00a on Saturday will be sent out on Saturday morning prior to the post office closing at noon. Any orders after those cutoffs will be shipped out first thing in the morning the following business day. We ship all items via USPS as the post office is one door down from our shop. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an automated tracking number (keep an eye on your junk/spam folder) to the email provided and your item will be walked next door to the post office by an owner or team member.
